Before you Resign from a Course, you should:
- Discuss possible implications with an academic advisor
- If you need to repeat this course, will you have to take it during Summer or Winter Session. Refer to Grading – Course Repeat Policy, scroll down the page to the Priority Registration for Students Attempting a Course for the First Time (Course Enrollment Control Policy) section.
- If you receive financial aid or scholarships, discuss implications of resigning a course with a financial aid advisor.
If you are an international student and you are thinking about resigning from a course, and such action would drop you below Full-time Status (12.0 credit hours, you must first speak with an advisor at International Student Services (ISS). Their contact information is listed below:
