NASA is Looking for Student Interns with Disabilities!

Posted September 19, 2013 in Exploring Majors & Careers, General, Students with Disabilities

NASA is looking to increase the number of students with disabilities pursuing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers through their internship programs!

Students can apply for summer 2014 internships, starting on Friday, November 1, 2013 and the deadline for submitting applications is Friday, March 14, 2014.

NASA will begin extending offers to students as early as Monday, February 3, 2014 so they encourage students to apply early because the best opportunities are likely to be filled early and the likelihood of students being selected decreases the longer they wait.

Students can register for an account and look for internships anytime at the One Stop Shopping Initiative (OSSI): NASA Internships, Fellowships, and Scholarships (NIFS) site at

Summer 2014 internships run from early June until early August for college students. All student interns get paid, however, they are responsible for their own housing.
