Attend the Study Abroad Fair to: Learn about 60+ UB programs, Meet with UB faculty to learn about their unique faculty-led programs, Talk with study abroad alumni to learn about their experiences abroad, Browse 600+ SUNY programs from SUNY campus representatives, Gather information on financial aid and available scholarships, and Find the program that is right for you!

This workshop will introduce students to scholarships for study abroad. We will cover those scholarships offered through the Office of International Education, various academic departments at UB, as well as national scholarships such as the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program and the Boren Scholarship Program.

Come to one of these sessions and learn more about the first steps of making study abroad a reality. The group advising sessions will cover the preliminary tasks of studying abroad, such as: researching study abroad options, identifying the program that is right for you, preparing a study abroad application, working with academic and financial aid advisors, and obtaining scholarship information.

Come to a session and learn more about the first steps of making study abroad a reality. UB students who have studied abroad will share their experiences and help you learn more about the available programs in these regions of the world. The location-based info session will also cover some preliminary tasks of studying abroad, such as navigating the study abroad website and researching study abroad options.

This workshop will introduce students to fellowships and scholarships for study abroad as an undergraduate and for graduate level work. Register for this workshop through Life & Learning Workshops. This workshop will cover fellowships and scholarships only open to U.S. citizens. This particular workshop is not intended for international students.

The University at Buffalo Study Abroad Programs office is pleased to announce that it will be holding its 12th annual Study Abroad Photo Contest & Exhibition on Thursday, November 13, 2014. UB returning study abroad participants have been invited to submit photos taken in a variety of locations and situations all around the world to be judged and displayed in our World View: UB Study Abroad Photo Contest & Exhibition on the University’s North Campus Student Union Social Hall (Flag Room, 2nd Floor) from 11am-3pm. This event has become increasingly popular each year and offers the perfect opportunity to showcase the artwork and experiences of our study abroad alumni.
